After arriving in Phuket airport, it was already 1.30pm (local time). We straight away took the mini van service to our hotel. For sure, the mini van driver will bring passengers to one of the tour agencies before heading to patong beach area. It doesn't matter if you do not want to buy any tour package with them because once you reach patong town area, there are a lot small counter which offering different tour packages that suit your need. However, we did buy the Simon Carabet show with her because the price are same as we searched from then Internet. It costs us each 600Baht for the show and we were lucky to sit in the first row. Peach Hill Resort is just next to the kata beach. It is tsunami evacuation area. At night, we walked around the kata area. Not many restaurants as compared to Patong beach. This place is definitely for people who really wish to enjoy their holiday in quite mood.
The next morning, we out for snorkeling which they will bring us to 13 different small islands including phi-phi island as well. Services were excellent. Only 8 of us in the small boat. I love their Pepsi and cola small bottle design. Enjoying the coke, fruits was excellent.
On the third day morning, we also head out for kayaking tour to James Bond Island. I wondered why they can give so good services compare to Malaysia tourism. We should learn from them. A lot of them can speak well Chinese, Japanese and Cantonese. Very impressing.
On the fourth morning, we went down to Phuket down plus visiting the Wat Chalong. We did something very stupid and crazy, kinda scarily when imagine back. We took the motorbike to phuket town , where in front is the driver, I sat in the middle and Boon just sat behind of me. Very dangerous as we 3 are not thin people. People on the street all stared at us. Oh Man~~~ so adventurous. Every public transport in Phuket, we have tried out.
We are lucky to stay until songkran festival. Those people including foreigners were so crazy. They used cold water to pour each other. Do not get mad if they are chasing you just to shoot you with water.
The souvenirs are too expensive. I managed to get some elephant key chains for my colleagues and friends. However, the food in Phuket consider ok only.
